Dear Residents of Barangay 17, Cagayan de Oro,

We are thrilled to announce the successful initiation of Phase 2 of our Smart Barangay project, jointly led by Barangay Captain Anthony A. Atterviry III and the Barangay Council of Barangay 17, Cagayan de Oro City. This endeavor aims to provide free Internet Wi-Fi access to the entire Barangay, enhancing connectivity and fostering a digitally inclusive community.

Key Features of Smart Barangay Phase 2:

  1. Strategic Location Design: Our team has meticulously designed the network infrastructure by employing a heat map to identify optimal locations for Ruijie Access Points. This ensures comprehensive coverage, minimizing connectivity gaps and ensuring that residents across Barangay 17 can benefit from the free Internet service.

  2. Ruijie Access Points: State-of-the-art Ruijie Access Points have been strategically deployed throughout the Barangay to create a seamless and reliable network. These access points are equipped to deliver high-speed Internet connectivity, meeting the diverse needs of our community members.

  3. Cloud AP Controller: To maintain control and manage access effectively, a Cloud AP Controller has been integrated into the system. This enables us to regulate and monitor Internet access, ensuring that it is utilized exclusively by legitimate residents of Barangay 17.
